Motherboard

A motherboard is the main circuit board which is found in most computers.

The motherboard houses and allows different components to communicate to perform certain tasks. E.g. CPU and the  memory, it also provides connectors for other peripherals. A motherboard usually contains significant sub-systems such as the central processor, the chipset's input/output and memory controllers  and other components which are added for everyday use.
