Graphics Card

A graphics card is a type of expansion card for a PC which outputs a lot of different pixels/ images to the monitor so that the quality of the image is much more vibrant and detailed, to a display, for example a computer monitor. There are graphics that are an actual physical component which provides the PC with much more detail and better visuals however there can be graphics that are actually integrated into the CPU, this provides the PC with better visuals as well but no where near enough detail compared to a graphics card. But it all depends on the purpose of the build and the budget for the build.

Integrated graphics are graphics that part of a chip-set or a processor, e.g. a CPU. The integrated graphics don't have their own memory but it is still sufficient to use and look at for most users. However the dedicated graphics cards have their own memory.

AMD and NVIDIA - The main two rivals in terms of making graphics card is AMD and NVIDIA, but both of these companies are very successful but each companies provides users with different features for their cards and some people like these but some people prefer the other companies products/ features that are available. AMD is the company that provides users with more budget products that are still pretty good however NVIDIA make cards that exceed in features and power, and are better fro people with a higher budget as they are expensive. but it all depends on the budget of the user. One product that AMD has to offer is called the Fury X, this is a very quick card in terms of memory speed but its slower than NVIDIA's, Titan X. The company AMD, allows users to download drivers straight from their websites so no other software is required to be installed. But NVIDEA software is much betters than AMD software, for example NVIDIA software offers something called ShadowPlay, this allows the user to have their content recorded for 20 minutes at the last moment with out the user doing anything else but gaming or user their PC. Also the users can manage to stream on twitch in high definition, if another bandwidth is available.
